Listed components
What Horse Float Level 3 can cover
Cover applies only where an eligible breakdown or failure affects a listed component and the claim is approved. Claim limits include GST and are maximum contributions, not guaranteed payments.

The PDS states that Horse Float Cover includes components and parts that were covered by the horse float’s original Manufacturer’s Warranty, subject to the listed exclusions, conditions and claim process.
- Maximum Level 3 claim limit: $10,000 including GST
- The component must meet the PDS definition of a listed component
- The failure must be sudden, unexpected and otherwise eligible
- Prior claim authorisation is required before repairs begin
Specified water ingress
Water-ingress cover is limited to ingress from the sources expressly listed in the PDS. Other water-ingress events remain excluded.
- Roof
- External door
- Side windows
- Front window
- Rear window
- Maximum claim limit: $1,000 including GST
Living-quarter appliances and equipment such as air conditioning, entertainment units, fridges, hot-water units, microwaves, solar panels, stoves, televisions and washing machines are not included under standard Horse Float Level 3 cover. Review the applicable PDS before purchasing.
Additional benefits
Support after an approved horse float breakdown claim
These benefits apply when the expense results from an approved breakdown of a listed component. Paid invoices and the PDS conditions apply.
Accommodation
Up to $150 per day, capped at $500 per approved claim, if the horse float is immobilised for more than one day and the failure occurs more than 100 kilometres from your usual residence.
Towing
Up to $100 per approved claim for towing charges reasonably incurred when the horse float cannot be safely towed by your vehicle.
Consequential damage
Up to $350 per approved claim may be available when another listed component fails as a consequence of the original covered failure.
Repair quality guarantee
Repairs to listed components carried out under the warranty remain covered for the rest of the warranty term, subject to the PDS.
Important product information
Understand how claim decisions work
These points may affect how much assistance is approved and which costs you may need to pay yourself.
This warranty is not an insurance policy
Integrity considers each claim on its merits and decides whether to pay a contribution or decline assistance. The $10,000 horse float-component limit and $1,000 water-ingress limit are maximums, not guaranteed payments.
You may still have out-of-pocket expenses
- Diagnostic costs unless accepted as part of an authorised claim
- Any repair amount above the approved contribution
- Maintenance, excluded parts and excluded events
- Any upgrade beyond the horse float’s pre-breakdown condition
Keeping your warranty active
Service your horse float every 12 months
All servicing and maintenance must be completed by a qualified horse float service agent. Missing the required interval may make the warranty inactive.
Service on time and keep proof
- Arrange a horse float service every 12 months
- Use a qualified horse float service agent
- Keep paid, itemised service invoices and maintenance records
- Pay routine servicing and maintenance costs yourself
Do not exceed the service allowance
If the service interval is exceeded by more than 30 days, the warranty becomes inactive and this may affect a claim. Reactivation requires a satisfactory inspection report from an approved repairer. Failures during an inactive period remain the customer’s responsibility.
When cover starts
Check the commencement date on your Warranty Schedule
The warranty term begins on the commencement date recorded on the Schedule and finishes at 4:00 pm on the day the selected term has elapsed. The warranty is inactive before its commencement date and after its recorded end date.
Making a claim
Get approval before any repair work begins
Repairs started or completed without Integrity’s prior consent and authorisation may be automatically rejected under the PDS.
Stop and contact Integrity
Review the PDS and contact Integrity for details of the nearest approved horse float repairer before authorising diagnosis or repairs.
Arrange diagnosis
The repairer provides the warranty number, diagnosis, replacement-part and labour details, and estimated repair cost. Diagnostic costs are your responsibility unless accepted as part of the authorised claim.
Wait for authorisation
Work should proceed only after a claim-authorisation number is issued. The PDS states that claims are assessed within 24 hours after all required information is received, or within five working days when an inspection is required.
Approved contribution paid to the repairer
Integrity pays the approved amount directly to the repairer after a valid tax invoice. You remain responsible for any shortfall. A pre-owned listed component may be used based on the horse float’s age and condition.
Important exclusions
What is generally not included
This is a summary only. The PDS contains the complete excluded-parts list, excluded events and claim conditions.
Excluded events include wear and tear, pre-existing faults, continued use after a fault, missed servicing, unauthorised repairs, misuse, non-approved modifications, off-road damage, collision, accidental damage, fire, overheating, theft, rust, corrosion, contamination, flood, submersion and water ingress from sources not listed under the water-ingress benefit.
- Routine servicing, maintenance and adjustments
- Wear-and-tear items
- Accessory items
- Batteries and belts
- Brake and clutch linings, brake pads, rotors and drums
- Bushes, cables, rubbers, pulleys and tensioners
- Connectors, wiring, fuses and heating elements
- Filters, gaskets, seals, hoses and pipes
- Glass, mirrors, lamps, globes and light bulbs
- Wheels and tyres
- Seats, upholstery and interior or exterior trim
- Cosmetic, panel and paint items

24/7 emergency assistance is available separately
Optional emergency assistance may provide towing, emergency fuel, flat-battery assistance, flat-tyre assistance and locksmith support. It is separate from the Horse Float Level 3 warranty, is not included in the prices shown above and remains subject to separate terms, limits, exclusions, availability and any applicable additional cost.
Frequently asked questions
Horse Float Level 3 warranty FAQs
Which horse floats can qualify?
As an initial guide, Horse Float Level 3 is available for eligible horse floats no more than 5 years old at warranty purchase. The horse float’s type, condition, service history and other acceptance criteria must also be confirmed.
How much can be claimed?
Up to $10,000 may be approved for an eligible covered horse float-component claim. Up to $1,000 may be approved for eligible water ingress from the specified entry points. These are maximum contributions and the approved amount may be lower.
What horse float components are covered?
The PDS describes Horse Float Cover as covering components and parts that were covered by the horse float’s original Manufacturer’s Warranty. The component must also meet the PDS definition of a listed component and the claim remains subject to all exclusions, conditions and approval.
Are horse float appliances and living-quarter equipment included?
Not under standard Horse Float Level 3 cover. Items such as air conditioning, a fridge, hot-water unit, microwave, solar panel, stove, television and washing machine are not included in this Level 3 plan. Confirm the cover shown on your Warranty Schedule and review the PDS.
What water ingress can be considered?
The Level 3 water-ingress benefit is limited to ingress from the roof, external door, side windows, front window or rear window. Other forms of water ingress may be excluded.
Can I use my own horse float repairer?
Contact Integrity first for details of an approved repairer. Diagnosis and repairs must follow the claim process, and repairs should not begin before Integrity provides authorisation.
How often must the horse float be serviced?
Every 12 months by a qualified horse float service agent. Keep paid invoices and maintenance records. Exceeding the service interval by more than 30 days makes the warranty inactive.
Is emergency assistance included in the warranty price?
No. Emergency assistance is optional and available separately. It is not included in the Horse Float Level 3 warranty prices and is subject to its own service conditions, exclusions, availability and limits.
Can I cancel the warranty?
Yes. If cancellation occurs within 30 days of purchase and no benefits have been paid, the PDS provides a full refund. A full refund may also apply after 30 days but before commencement if no benefits have been paid. After commencement, the refund is generally calculated for full unexpired days, less accepted claims and a $62.50 administration fee.
Can the warranty be transferred if I sell the horse float?
You may apply to transfer a valid, active warranty to the horse float’s new owner within seven days of sale. The PDS requires a transfer form, a horse float condition report from a qualified horse float service agent and a $62.50 transfer fee. The warranty cannot be moved to another horse float.
Is every eligible claim automatically paid in full?
No. This is a discretionary risk product rather than insurance. Integrity considers each claim on its merits and decides whether to approve a contribution or decline assistance. You pay any amount above the approved contribution.
Does this warranty replace Australian Consumer Law rights?
No. This optional warranty provides benefits in addition to rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law. It does not replace or restrict applicable consumer-guarantee rights.
Does Warranty Finder receive a commission?
Yes. The FSG states that Integrity pays its Authorised Representative a commission calculated as a percentage of the total warranty cost. This does not increase the total warranty cost. You may request further remuneration details before the warranty is arranged.
