Warranty Finder helps Australians explore eligible extended warranty options for their vehicle or asset.

Tell us about the vehicle or asset you want to protect, and we will use that information to identify available warranty options. You can then compare the cover, claim limits, warranty periods and pricing before deciding whether to proceed.

Online quotes and comparison results are indicative only. A quote does not guarantee eligibility or confirm that warranty cover has been accepted.

Step 1.

Tell us about your vehicle or asset

Start by completing the Warranty Finder online quote form.

Depending on the type of warranty requested, we may ask for information such as:

vehicle or asset type;

year, make and model;

current odometer or operating hours;

fuel or power type;

registration or VIN;

purchase method and purchase date;

current manufacturer or dealer warranty;

intended use; and

your contact details.

The information you provide helps us identify the warranty products that may be available for your circumstances.

Make sure the details entered are complete and accurate. Incorrect information may result in unsuitable options being displayed or the indicative quote being changed after further checks.

Step 2.

Receive your warranty comparison

Once your information has been submitted, Warranty Finder will review the details and prepare a comparison of eligible warranty options.

Your comparison may include:

available cover levels;

warranty periods;

maximum claim limits;

covered component categories;

important exclusions;

servicing requirements;

commencement conditions;

optional roadside assistance; and

indicative pricing.

Your comparison will generally be sent to the email address you provide.

A Warranty Finder team member may contact you when additional information or clarification is required.

Step 3.

Compare the available options

Take time to review each available option and consider the level of protection it provides.

Warranty products can differ in areas such as:

the components included;

the maximum amount available per claim;

vehicle age and kilometre requirements;

warranty commencement dates;

waiting periods;

servicing obligations;

exclusions; and

additional benefits.

The lowest-priced option may not provide the same level of cover as another product. Compare the product terms rather than relying only on the warranty price.

Before purchasing, read the documents applying to your selected warranty.

These may include:

Product Disclosure Statement

Financial Services Guide

Target Market Determination

Step 4.

Select your warranty

When you have reviewed the available options, select the warranty and cover period you want to purchase.

You may then be asked to:

confirm your vehicle or asset information;

provide additional eligibility information;

accept the relevant declarations;

review the total warranty cost;

select an available payment method; and

complete the online purchase process.

After your warranty begins

Once your warranty has been issued, you must comply with the conditions contained in the applicable warranty documents.

This may include:

servicing the vehicle or asset at the required intervals;

using an appropriately qualified repairer;

keeping service invoices and maintenance records;

maintaining the vehicle in a roadworthy condition;

reporting a possible failure promptly; and

obtaining approval before repairs commence.

Failure to comply with applicable servicing or claims requirements may affect a future request for warranty assistance.
